Theme Day

First of the month, and that means theme day is upon us. Today's theme was a "typical breakfast." There were many ways I could have gone with this, but I decided on my own typical breakfast. Like many Americans, I see breakfast as an optional meal. Occasionally I eat some cereal, drink some tea, and read. But most days I grab a granola bar on my way out the door.

There are 100 cities participating in today's theme. Click below to see breakfast all across the globe.

You should always eat a hearty breakfast and skip dinner. Breakfast contributes to old age or a long life and puts hair on your chest.

I'm similar! Good pic.

I love your photo, Victoria.

Mr Lincoln, I don't think that breakfast contributes to anything. The type of food you eat is what's important, not when you eat it.

I'm sure you catch up with something a little more substantial later in the day

Amazing! Never thought of breakfast as an optional meal; all my doctor friends keep telling me that I should eat something more than just a simple yogurt...

I love your photo, how it looks black & white until you look a little closer.

Typical student's breakfast!

Love the photo - everything looks suspended in the air, I had to look closer to figure out it is a glass tabletop ;-)

Victoria, I hope you are aware that your photography is improving with age as your blog grows. You manage to make an art form from a few cups and bowls!!

Oh, wow, what an artistic creation! Yeah, I eat the same breakfast you do most days, and sometimes nothing at all. That's a great theme picture, though! Awesome, actually.

Bautiful photo. Love your reading glasses. I couldn;t contemplate skipping breakfast - I;d be gnawing the table leg by 9:30!

Neat photo. I love teapots and collect folk art teapots. Although, I don't have to many of them yet.
