Theme Day
First of the month, and that means theme day is upon us. Today's theme was a "typical breakfast." There were many ways I could have gone with this, but I decided on my own typical breakfast. Like many Americans, I see breakfast as an optional meal. Occasionally I eat some cereal, drink some tea, and read. But most days I grab a granola bar on my way out the door.
There are 100 cities participating in today's theme. Click below to see breakfast all across the globe.

tres belle photo, tres douce, j'aime beaucoup
very beautiful photograph, very soft, I like much
Great photo - very original take.
You should always eat a hearty breakfast and skip dinner. Breakfast contributes to old age or a long life and puts hair on your chest.
I'm similar! Good pic.
I love your photo, Victoria.
Mr Lincoln, I don't think that breakfast contributes to anything. The type of food you eat is what's important, not when you eat it.
I'm sure you catch up with something a little more substantial later in the day
Wonderful photo!
Lovely, creative photo. Have a good breakfast!
I like the picture, very interesting.
Amazing! Never thought of breakfast as an optional meal; all my doctor friends keep telling me that I should eat something more than just a simple yogurt...
Great photo! Sorry not to mention earlier...
I love your photo, how it looks black & white until you look a little closer.

Typical student's breakfast!
Love the photo - everything looks suspended in the air, I had to look closer to figure out it is a glass tabletop ;-)
nice photo, like the black & white cups. it gives an impress of quietness.
Victoria, I hope you are aware that your photography is improving with age as your blog grows. You manage to make an art form from a few cups and bowls!!

like the mother I am.....breakfast is the most important meal of the day.....glad you are eating a granola at least!!
Oh, wow, what an artistic creation! Yeah, I eat the same breakfast you do most days, and sometimes nothing at all. That's a great theme picture, though! Awesome, actually.
Bautiful photo. Love your reading glasses. I couldn;t contemplate skipping breakfast - I;d be gnawing the table leg by 9:30!
Neat photo. I love teapots and collect folk art teapots. Although, I don't have to many of them yet.
Nice shot, great perspective with the glass table!
